Baa-ru Flock (daily)

Location: Aeven West

Quest Giver: Baru Shepherd

Level Requirement:  Level 30

Daily Quest: Yes (once per day, counts toward your 4 daily quest limit)

Reward: 2,000 exp and 1 Baru Flock

Note: This is the only quest that grants Baru Flock, which can later be crafted into either Baru or Baruta.

Note: The quest Strange Neighbours is a prerequisite to start this quest.

1. Head to Aeven West and find the Baru Shepherd.

2. Speak to the Baru Shepherd. He asks you to bring him 1 Super Sheep Food from Nostalgia Island.

3. To craft Super Sheep Food, you’ll need:

   ·      1 Shiny Puffyweed

   ·      1 Shiny Chewyherb

After speaking with the Baru Shepherd, gather at least 1 Puffyweed north-west of his location. If you forget this step, you can collect Puffyweed around Aeven or the surrounding maps.

4. Next, travel to Nostalgia Island:

   ·      Head east back into Aeven, then south into the Aeven Port.

   ·      Speak to the Boat Captain and select Nostalgia Port.

5. Once on Nostalgia Island, collect 1 Chewyherb from a resource node. (You may want to gather extra if planning multiple crafts.)

6. After collecting your Chewyherbs, return to Aeven by speaking to the Boat Captain at Nostalgia Port.

7. Go to the Aeven Market, talk to Cara Craft Merchant and purchase 30–40 Empty Bucket.

8. Travel to the Stronghold Woods east of Aeven and use the well by the road.

   ·      Each time you fill an Empty Bucket, you have a 10% chance to obtain a Bucket of Pure Water

   ·      Repeat until you collect 2 Buckets of Pure Water

9. After acquiring 2 Buckets of Pure Water, return to the Aeven Market and talk to Hilda Herbs to craft 1 Shiny Puffyweed and 1 Shiny Chewyherb.

10. Return to Nostalgia Island.  From the port, go south one map and enter the southernmost building.

11. Inside, speak to Buddy Chef and craft 1 Super Sheep Food.

12. Finally, head back to the Baru Shepherd in Aeven West.  He’ll then reward you with 2,000 exp and 1 Baru Flock.

13. You will need 20 baru flocks to craft a baru or baruta. You can craft it at the Aeven Blacksmith for 3 casual textile, 3 beginner sewing kits, and 20 baru flock (at the time of writing this guide.) You can also use #item baru in game to view the current crafting ingredients.

14. Once you go inside the Blacksmith building, head up the stairs.
