WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Basic Fishing Rod, crafted from: 1 Wooden Handle, 1 Wooden Sticks, 1 Strings (Raw Materials Needed: 24 Wooden Logs, 5 Jute)

NOTE: the quest Toolshop Approved (minimum level 1) is a prerequisite since it unlocks the ability to craft the Basic Fishing Rod.

1. Go to the Green Lake, northeast of Aeven, and talk to Freddy Fisher.

2. Freddy mentions he is not getting any bites and asks you to help him by fishing up a pair of Old Shoes.

3. If you do not already have a fishing rod, talk to Franny Fish, whose booth is just south of Freddy Fisher.

4. Go to the Aeven Tool Shop and talk to Hubo Handy to craft 1 Wooden Handle and 1 Wooden Sticks (requires 24 Wooden Logs)

5. Then, go to the Aeven Market (below the bank)and talk to Creative Caroline to craft 1 Strings. (requires 5 jute)

6. Once you have the required materials, return to Franny Fish and craft your Basic Fishing Rod.

7. With your Basic Fishing Rod equipped, sit by the water (press F11) and wait for the bobber to go completely underwater.  Once it does, press CTRL.  Repeat until you fish up 2 Old Shoes.

8. Bring the 2 Old Shoes back to Freddy Fisher.  He will then reward you with 1,000 exp and 90 eons.
