Minimum level for the one-time quest is lvl 20. Once this quest is completed, it will be available as a daily quest for one guaranteed shiny coin per day at lvl 30.
How to get to the start of the maze:
Tips: Before doing the maze, right click the top of your client, go to input, and turn on ghostable npcs. Biters move fast and might block you - ghost npc avoids the npcs blocking you. There are safe zones between the biters - when you get hit, just sit-heal (or use potions.)
The Monkey Explorer asks you to report his findings to the Wise Monkey in Monkey Island.
