Note: The quest Unlocked (minimum level 1) is a prerequisite to start this quest.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED: 1 Iron (crafted from 8 Iron Ore)
Go to Bunker 5 in the Shadow Desert. To get there:
· Travel north of Aeven into the Aeven Mines.
· Take the northeast exit.
· From there, head east through the Shadow Desert until you reach Bunker 5.
Once there, enter Bunker 5 and talk to the Inventor to start the quest
The Inventor explains he is still analyzing data from the impact site but needs to take a sample from it.
He asks you to help him find his sampler, which he lost in Bunker 1.
Travel to Bunker 1 by leaving Bunker 5 and going west one map then north one map.
Inside follow the path west then north into a room. You will find the Broken Sampler on the floor behind several overturned tables.
Pick up the Broken Sampler, then return to the Inventor in Bunker 5.
The Inventor now tasks you with gathering 1 Iron to repair the sampler.
Go into the Aeven Mines and collect 8 Iron Ore.
Take the ore to the Aeven Forge and craft 1 Iron.
With the Iron, return to Bunker 5.
Inside Bunker 5, craft the Energy Sampler on the Craft Table.
After crafting the Energy Sampler, talk to the Inventor.
The Inventor thanks you for your excellent work, then asks you to use the Energy Sampler on the beam at the Aeven Impact Site to collect a sample.
Go to the Aeven Impact Site. (Use the teleporter north of the Inventor’s room for a shortcut).
Stand next to the beam. An in-game message will appear instructing you to return to the Inventor.
Go back to Bunker 5 and talk to the Inventor.
The Inventor confirms the sample looks good and informs you his scanners have detected another energy source at the Aeven Stronghold
Travel to the Aeven Stronghold Impact Site. (Use the teleporter north of the Inventor’s room for a shortcut, then head east two maps).
Stand next to the beam. An in-game message will appear instructing you to return to the Inventor.
Return to Bunker 5 and speak to the Inventor.
The Inventor will share his findings with you.
He explains he needs to triple-check the results and suggests you contact the Aeven Group, leading into the next quest. After the dialog, you are rewarded with 1,580 EXP
