Trident Trouble

Location: Atlantis Neptune

Quest Giver: King Neptune

Level Requirement: Level 26

Reward: 80,000 exp

WHAT YOU NEED: Fishing rod

1.Go to Atlantis. In the big ocean map, enter into the cave and keep going north.

You’ll reach a house with moon statues outside. After you enter into the house, King Neptune is at the north end of the map.

He wants to hold a celebration to show Shabby the best of Atlantis, but his trident has been chewed by a shark.

2. Look for one of the trident pieces in the Big Ocean map, south of Atlantis town and below the Jellyfish cave. Use #range to find the trident once you are in the Big Ocean map. It will be on the floor, and the location is different for everyone.

3. Go back to King Neptune. He tells you 2 more pieces are missing. One of the pieces is in the deep-sea platform and you need to use a fish rod to retrieve it.

4. Travel back to the submarine and talk to Captain Scuba.

5. At the deep-sea platform, use your fishing rod to fish out the 2nd trident piece. This may take a little while. If you don’t have a fishing rod, an npc there sells it for 4,000 eons.

6. Take the 2nd piece to King Neptune. There is a third piece missing - you will find it by defeating the big shark near the shipwreck in the Big Ocean map.

7. Defeat the big shark for the 3rd missing trident piece. The shipwreck is directly east once you are outside of the Jellyfish Cave. From the shipwreck, go north.

*Margi's Notes: The map only allows 1 person in, so you cannot defeat it with a tank. Depending on your level and gear, you may need potions. If you're under level 40, you may have some difficulty killing it, like I did with my lvl 34 - make sure to have 30-50 small health potions with you, as well as a shield.

*Turkey's Notes: Strategy 1: Kite Boss Around Pillars with range “Very slow takes a long time”

Strategy 2: Melee attack, after each death run back in and repeat. You’ll spawn a few tiles from the Big Shark entrance. Use Regen Tiny and Holy Shield to speed up this process. With my Gear/ Level it took about 2-3 minutes to defeat the Big Shark.

I highly recommend Strategy 2.
